Plug&go has accompanied Dr\u00e4ger throughout the process of searching for and setting up its new corporate headquarters in Madrid. This transformation process has culminated in the multinational occupying several floors of the Beloira Building owned by UBS.<\/p>

Dr\u00e4ger’s new offices occupy 5,456 sqm at 56-58 Ribera del Loira Street, Madrid, moving its headquarters to this epicentre of the city where several multinational and IBEX35 companies are located.<\/p>

The building, owned by UBS, has been completely refurbished based on the architectural proposal created by the influential Ortiz y Le\u00f3n studio. At Beloira, the design and respect for the user is generated in a fluid, sustainable and very bright space. It is a Leed Gold and Well Gold certified corporate building, with a fa\u00e7ade on all four sides, perfectly located and with immediate access to the centre of Madrid.<\/p>

It is a place where the German multinational Dr\u00e4ger has chosen to relocate its Madrid operations, with the help of plug&go, a space where culture and new ways of working can be transformed, creating a true experiential centre with customers and partners. In essence, it is the group’s flagship in Europe.<\/p>

This is a project that has been worked on from the outset, analysing a new process of cultural transformation in the use of workspace and creating a place to connect, innovate and create, supported by technology and wellbeing.<\/p>

Being able to devise a process of change based on transformation and culture has enabled plug&go to create a matrix for change that resulted in the selection of the building as the best space of all those visited to carry out the motivation and leadership of this great challenge for Dr\u00e4ger.<\/p>

Having a corporate space, understood as a centre for experiential innovation, means being able to interconnect verticals, providing users and other stakeholders with a memorable and distinctive experience.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The space no longer has a horizontal version but rather a vertical model of uses and destinations:<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Areas for innovation, spaces for training, meetings and coworking that allow for international exchange, an interactive showroom, teambuilding areas, individual and confidential workspaces, outdoor wellness areas, demo and technological innovation spaces, workshops and academy centres.<\/p>

The building also has an attractive private terrace with access from the relaxation and operational areas and an SBA of 180m2, allowing an in&out connection that integrates new ways of working and contemplation.<\/p>

The creative design concept is also rooted in Dr\u00e4ger culture and integrates Iberia’s idiosyncrasies into a visual appeal reminiscent of Gaud\u00ed’s Mediterranean style, creating a global harmony that conveys the message and purpose: \u2018a place to activate well-being and innovation\u2019, a place where Dr\u00e4ger’s DNA is perfectly combined with a fractal visual appeal that breaks away from design trends and pays tribute to the Mediterranean essence that brings warmth and strength.<\/p>

All materials have been selected by plug&go based on a set of criteria that includes leading brands that respect and care for the planet and guarantee, as does the entire construction process carried out by plug&go, a sustainable life cycle and Well certification.<\/p>

The technology project has also been a challenge to integrate into the implementation project, seeking out the partners that best suited Dr\u00e4ger’s requirements: Ricoh and Trison, creating a truly experiential space not only for work areas but also for an interactive showroom and customer relations.<\/p>

One of the key milestones of the plug&go project, given that Dr\u00e4ger has several different uses for its new headquarters, is the coexistence of work areas, workshops, training, outdoor space and customer areas, and this has been noise control. The leading acoustic engineering company Audiotec audited and certified the space, awarding it the highest rating as an Acoustic Habitat: Healthy Acoustic Space.<\/p>

Finally, in line with the culture of inclusion and respect for diversity, Dr\u00e4ger’s new headquarters has been recognised by the Minister for Equality, promoted by the Diversity Foundation and the European Commission.<\/p>
